JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for providing technical support to Palisades Nuclear Power Plant with Measuring and Test Equipment (M&TE) expertise. Maintain the M&TE equipment program and associated equipment.
JOB DUTIES/ RESONSIBILITIES
- Maintain the M&TE program including onsite calibrations, coordination of offsite calibrations and other supporting duties.
- Perform cause analysis per the corrective action program (CAP)
- Participate in Emergency Response Organization as directed by supervisor.
- Serve as a liaison and technical expert with engineering, training, and other departments and vendors to develop, coordinate, and implement training and station modification activities for M&TE.
- Develop/revise detailed integrated work schedule (online/outage) for M&TE usage.
- Accountable for other miscellaneous responsibilities assigned by supervisor.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Minimum education required of the position:
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
Minimum experience required of the position:
- At least 5 years’ experience with M&TE calibrations and maintenance.
Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position:
- 2 years of technical training.
- Technical proficiency in the Measuring and Test Equipment (M&TE) area.
- Technical understanding of nuclear generation principles and operation.
